Yahoo! Maktoob and Nahdet El Mahrousa are offering you the chance to add your name to the list of Egyptians who have made a difference, as part of our Social Innovation project.

Competition starts June 28, 2010.

Categories: Education, Health and the Environment. There’s also a “wild card” category for ideas that are really “outside the box”!

Prizes: Ten ideas will be funded, and over USD250,000 will be divided to make them happen.

We’re looking to fund two types of social enterprise:

1. Brand new ideas (which have never been funded before)
2. Existing enterprises which are looking for additional funds so they can expand

So go ahead – start planning how you’re going to change lives for the better!
