YIA on Channel 1

        On Sunday, August 17, 2008, Young Innovators’ Awards Project – YIA – was the topic of “Ma’an” show on channel 1 at 8:10pm. The show hosted Loay El Shawarby (Vice Chair of Nahdet El Mahrousa), Ramez Farag (P&G CSR Director) and Mohamed El Zarkani (Director of YIA Program) to explain the project's idea, expansion and current impact. YIA is currently spread in the 22 faculties of Engineering of Egypt. The project, whose focus is the improvement of R&D culture in Egypt has succeeded this year, thanks to the IMC, to offer 35 scholarships for postgraduate studies. It's ought to be mentioned that Industrial Modernization Center ( IMC), Procter & Gamble, Mobinil & Challenger Egypt are the Strategic partners of the sucessful incubated project.
