Diverse youth groups will work together to develop their local communities through the implementation of small projects in order to apply the values delivered on the ground. To that end, diversified teams will be formed of 15-20 persons each. Different religious, gender, social and educational backgrounds would be encouraged to form those groups, and will create and implement small projects that serve their local communities.
Objective 3
Egyptians of different age groups are engaged in using arts to promote the message of tolerance.
A national art competition will be announced on a national level where the theme will address the value of celebrating the Egyptian identity that feeds on diversity and the winner products of the competition will be used as materials at the art workshops (Youmak ya Masry), as well as in promoting and sustaining the project financially if possible. This helps to engage more Egyptians, especially youth, in finding some creative ways to tackle the dangerous dilemma of discrimination and intolerance themselves through creative artistic output. One of the competition fields is dedicated to create applied artworks that can be produced for daily use and sold to sustain the project.
