CDO plans for an Alex branch

                              On Sunday the 27^th of July 2008, a delegate representing Nahdet el Mahrousa and its successful incubated project, CDO, had visited the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The delegate consisted of the Managing Director of Nahdet El Mahrousa Ehaab Abdou, the EEEA Director Jacqueline Kameel, the CDO Director of Cairo University office Salma El Bahrawy and the Chief Operation Office Ahmed Mostafa. Based on the interest of Dr. Ismail Serageldin, the director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the four people’s delegate had headed to Alexandria to elaborate a plan to replicate the CDO in Alexandria. The discussions took place with Dr. Mohsen Youssef, the Senior Advisor of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and his team. CDO, which is situated in the faculty of Engineering in Cairo University, had proved great success organizing 30 courses and workshops with more than 1000 attendees.  It had also facilitated internship opportunities; four students had travelled for a three months internship at Daimler in Germany. Such an outstanding project will reach the ultimate success by opening in every Egyptian university and equipping Egyptian youth with skills, jobs and better lives!
