RWE Goals

The primary goal of the ‘Reconnect With Egypt’ program is helping in the reversal brain and resource drain back to Egypt, through the mobilization of the Egyptian professional Diaspora. This can be achieved by establishing a well-designed mechanism of outreach and marketing, bringing Egypt opportunities and services to the Professional Egyptian Expatriates wherever they are. This is an attempt to tap into the knowledge, experience and resource pool of Professional Egyptian Expatriates. Initially a needs assessment of Egyptian Professional Expatriates will be conducted to be able to detect what the outreaching methodology should be in order to attract Egyptians in the right way.There will be a sustained channel of communication/dialogue with Professional Egyptian expatriates abroad. This communication will first require a good understanding of the needs of the Egyptian Expatriate community and accordingly the best method of outreach; equally, on the side of the parties to the RWE program, there needs to be a realization that there is a long inherited and built up trust gap/ lack of trust in the Egyptian system, mainly originating from the past where these Egyptians have been compelled to emigrate from Egypt.

Specific Goals:

1.   Productize services to Egyptian Expatriates in the [UK] [1]:

•  Jobs in Egypt
• Real Estate business and
• Investing in the Stock Market
• Other Investment opportunities in Egypt
• Teaching Arabic for Beginners

2.Outreach:

This should include an annual forum in London, advertisements, etc.  The intention is to create credibility and a good image for the RWE program, which is also the door to certain services in Egypt (RWE credibility is interlinked to the credibility of the entities/products that RWE will promote).  In addition, insure that the information / data / service offered to Egyptian Expatriates are relevant, complete, and reliable. To be updated/ expanded regularly to reflect the Demand side.

3.   Create an Egyptian Expatriate database and Live Portal. At the outset the Live portal will be used to announce the latest with regard to the Productized services/ updates allows for Q&As.  Later, the live portal should allow for job announcements, technical assistance, etc.
