One Stop Shops in Youth Centres

EEEA works in close partnership with Egypt’s National Youth Council to showcase new approaches to better utilize the over 4,500 National Youth Centres located across Egypt. Pilot projects will recreate youth centres as “One-Stop-Shops” that provide local youth with critical employment and life skills, job placement services, and social and cultural enrichment activities.

Programs will also illustrate new avenues to ensure the sustainability of youth centre operations through partnerships with local NGOs and community groups that help govern centre operations.

EEEA’s One-Stop-Shop Youth Centres model is being implemented by:

  • Alashanek ya Balady for Sustainable Development (AYB-SD) – Ain El Sire youth centre
  • Sekem Development Foundation – El Maadi El Gedeeda youth centre
  • Business Enterprise Support Tools (BEST) – El Saha A and El Saha B youth centres in Minia and Fayoum.
