One-Stop-Shop Program in El Maadi El Gadeeda

Sekem Foundation has now been successfully running the One-Stop-Shop project at the Maadi El Gedeeda youth centre since January 2008. The team has effectively equipped a computer lab, where participants have been attending a course twice per week, the gymnasium, and a room is being renovated to accommodate the sewing workshop for women.

Alashanek Ya Balady for Sustainable Development (AYB-SD)

AYB-SD has been implementing the One-Stop-Shop project at the Ain El Sira youth centre for 5 months now with great outcomes. In the Economic Empowerment Field they offer English language courses for different levels, illiteracy classes, and computer courses. They have also equipped a computer lab and renovated some rooms of the youth centre in order to accommodate the courses they offer.

                                                   Business Enterprise Support Tool

BEST has also been effectively managing its One-Stop-Shop project in El Madina B - El Saha El Shaabeya youth centre in Fayoum and El Madina A - Hay Shalaby youth centre in Minia, since January 2008. The teams in both cities have been very active and the outcomes are great. The youth centers now offer human development seminars, English language courses for different levels, cultural activities of which some are directed to the women of Upper Egypt, and also computer courses.

 Key Career Development Center (CDC)

The Key-CDC held its successful official launch event on March 12^th 2008 at the Cairo Marriott, which was attended by the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Hani Helal, Fomer Minister of Higher Education and Co-Chairperson of the EEEA Advisory Board Dr. Amr Salama, Dr. Hadya El Hennawy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University, and was organized by the highly effective team of the Egyptian Junior Business Association.

Career Development Office (CDO)

The CDO continues to offer different trainings to the students of the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University, conducted by Injaz, AYB, and CISCO. The CDO team of students also participated in the Injaz competition and won the 3^rd prize for “The Company’s” training.
