Key Career Development Center (CDC)
Key-CDCJuly has been a busy month for the Key-CDC program. The team has been actively working on the selection of the volunteers for the upcoming academic year and incessantly concentrating on matching the CVs that they receive with the jobs in the private sector. Key-CDC had already secured 32 summer internships during the month of June, and now they have added 5 more internships to their rising portfolio.

Career Development Office (CDO)
CDO field visitsThe CDO team continues to enrich its vibrant work environment by continuing to offer the Cairo University students different and efficient training and knowledge transfer opportunities. Members of the CDO have been offered a Photoshop course (7 participants), a Communication course (7 participants) and under the knowledge transfer sharing sessions, 15 students per class are attending the following sessions:
1- C++
2- Micro Control

One-Stop-Shop Program in El Maadi El Gadeeda
sekem awarness lecturesSekem Foundation has been actively introducing new activities to its “One Stop Shop” project at the youth centre. The team has commenced some educational activities such as: Pottery, sculpture, clay and porcelain formation, paper toys making, drawing & painting, theatrical performances, scouts activities, and paper recycling for children with special needs.

Alashanek Ya Balady for Sustainable Development (AYB-SD)
In the Economic Empowerment Field they are resuming the English and Computer courses in addition to having introduced 2 new Injaz courses on Success Skills and Leadership Skills. The project has also witnessed the graduation of the following beneficiaries: Leadership skills course (11 graduates) Success Skills course ( 7 graduates), and English classes (6 beneficiaries), IT course (7 graduates) and Excel course (5 graduates) The team also continues to hold English Placement Exams for the English Language Course. volunteersAYB-SD’s team has been notably working on improving and increasing the activities at the Ain El Sira youth centre.
self development workshopsThe youth centres in both Minia and Fayoum have experienced a highly active phase during the month of July.
BEST Fayoum’s team has conducted a TOT training on Good Governance to the directors and coordinators of the other EEEA projects, which turned out to be highly effective and will be implemented by the participants at both the universities and youth centres where the projects are being executed.
