Who Are We looking for?

Most of Nahdet El Mahrousa members fit the following profile:

• Have graduate education and/or working experience of 3 years or more. NM members' educational and professional backgrounds have enriched their voluntary work and added a lot to its quality.
• Have a track record of active community involvement e.g., student activities, NGO work, charity. Most of NM members are active participants in the community at large.
• Have a track record of intellectual activities targeted at advising public policy or introducing new perspectives to the development process. NM aspires to have an active influential policy arm.
• Have the time and will to get involved in at least one of NM components (e.g., NM Project Incubator, NM Forum, NM Policy Arm) or overall organizational support functions like fundraising or external relations.
• Respect and abide by our values of taking initiative, being socially responsible, maintaining transparency and accountability in our activities, promoting social work, innovation and volunteerism.
• Have working knowledge of Arabic and English. In Nahdet El Mahrousa, Arabic is valued as our mother tongue, but English cannot be ignored as an essential tool for communication with international entities, networking and knowledge acquiring and experience exchange.
• Have working knowledge of the Internet. Because NM's members are scattered around the world, the Internet is an essential tool for our communication.
• Are at their mid-20's or early 30's.
• Pay the annual membership fees of EGP200. So far, membership contributions have been the main source of Nahdet El Mahrousa's funding.
