Join Dr. Samy Hanna, a consultant in the area of Medical Devices for Radiation Therapy, where he will share some of the contributions of Biomedical, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to the design, manufacturing, testing and maintaining of the most recent technological advancements in this field.

About the Speaker:
 
Dr. Samy Hanna is a consultant in the area of microwave and RF applications including medical linacs in the US and Canada. Before the current consulting activity, his career of 25 years was divided almost equally between academia, research and industry. He taught courses and supervised MS and PhD theses in the area of microwave at Polytechnic University. His research in Brookhaven National Lab and Stanford University (Stanford Linear Accelerator Center) was focused on accelerators. At Siemens Medical, he served as Principal Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Sr. Engineering Manager in the area of medical linacs. His graduate degrees are from California Institute of Technology and Purdue University. His Electrical Engineering undergraduate degree is from Alexandria University, Egypt.
