The Industrial Modernization Centre (IMC), in partnership with The Young Innovators’ Awards (YIA) Program, is presenting scholarships to individuals seeking further education The IMC-YIA Scholarship Program is offering 20 Masters and 15 PhD scholarships for students enrolled in any of the 18 national Egyptian universities. These annual scholarships amount to EGP 12,000 and EGP 24,000 respectively.

The purpose behind these scholarships is to provide students with the opportunity to pursue a higher degree and focus on their research without being burdened by financial matters. In addition, these scholarships aim at aiding the Egyptian industry by encouraging its applicants to tackle and resolve issues facing it. This leads to a win-win situation where students are financially capable of pursuing a further degree and simultaneously take part in the advancement of the Egyptian Industry; armoring it with the essential requirements to compete on an international level.

• Applicants must have a link to the industry that offers them an up to date industrial problem.
• Application package has a total of four different applications that are to be filled out by: the student/ applicant, the project’s academic advisor, a contact person from the Egyptian industry that will support the project and two academic recommenders.
